OVERVIEW
We produce high-quality stainless steel for forging applications. Our wide range of size viability gives customers the right to choose the right sizes based on their applications. Stainless steel ingots are used for direct upsetting forging, open die forging, Re-Rolling, Ring Rolling, Flanges, sst profile, and other engineering cases.
Composition limits for the grades poured are published in the grade reference, and the melting and casting route is described on the technology page.

Forging quality ingots are listed in square, fluted and round formats. They are supplied spot ground or fully ground and free from visible surface defects or cracks.
Every forging quality ingot is marked with its heat number, colour code, grade, size and weight. Grade confirmation is performed with handheld PMI equipment.
Laxcon packs forging quality stainless steel ingots in standard bundles of 500 to 1,000 kg with HDPE or LDPE wrapping and two lifting slings. ISPM 15 wooden boxes and fibre-tube packing are available, and every bundle is marked with heat number, grade, size, and net and gross weight.
An enquiry for forging quality stainless steel ingots is quotable when it states the grade, governing standard, metric size or profile, tolerance, finish or heat-treatment condition, length, quantity, test or inspection requirement, and delivery destination.
