App Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the Laxcon Steels mobile app (on iOS, Android or any other platform we release it for) handles information. The app is provided by Laxcon Steels Limited, India. For any question about this policy or your information, write to info@laxconsteels.com.
What the app collects
Basic app and device information. To keep the app reliable and to improve it, the app reports anonymous usage information such as the app version, device model, operating system version, language and region, and which features are used. This is tied to a random installation identifier, not to an account; the app has no accounts.
Information you provide. Messages you type into the assistant, and any details you choose to share when you contact us.
Your preferences. The currencies, metals, units and other settings you choose stay on your phone and in your own platform account backup (such as iCloud or Google), which we do not access.
The app contains no advertising, does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and we never sell personal information.
The assistant
Messages sent to the assistant are processed by a third-party artificial intelligence service provider on our behalf so a reply can be generated, and conversations may be retained by Laxcon to maintain quality and prevent abuse. Please do not type confidential business information or personal details about other people into the assistant.
Notifications
Daily market notes are scheduled on your own phone, at times you choose, and can be turned off at any time. We do not send push notifications from our servers.
When information is shared
Information is shared only with the service providers that run the app’s backend, such as hosting and artificial intelligence processing, and only so the app can work. It is never sold and never used for advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
How long information is kept
Information is kept only for as long as it is needed to operate and improve the app, or as the law requires, and is then deleted.
Your choices
- You can clear the assistant conversation from the settings screen inside the app at any time.
- You can turn daily market notes off at any time.
- Deleting the app stops all collection.
- You can write to info@laxconsteels.com to ask about, or ask us to delete, information linked to your installation.
About the information in the app
Rates, prices and market figures in the app are third-party reference data for general information only. They are not Laxcon prices, not offers and not tradable quotes, and they can be delayed or inaccurate. Assistant answers are generated automatically and can be wrong. None of it is professional or financial advice, so please verify anything important independently before acting on it.
Our responsibility
The app is provided free of charge and as is. While we work to keep it accurate and reliable, we cannot promise it will always be available, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, and, to the extent permitted by applicable law, Laxcon and its people accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of the app or from reliance on information in it.
Children
The app is a general-audience business and reference tool with no advertising and no tracking. Its features that involve typing in personal information are meant for adults, or for minors with a parent or guardian involved, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child without the consent applicable law requires.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this page with a new effective date.
