Duplex Steel

Duplex stainless steels bars have enormous hardness making them the first choice for applications that need strength. Duplex stainless steels are called "duplex" because they have a two-phase microstructure consisting of grains of ferritic and austenitic stainless steel. This structure provides a unique set of benefits. Duplex steel is about twice as strong as regular austenitic or ferritic stainless steel. It is corrosion-resistant and significantly has better toughness and ductility than ferritic grades. As a top duplex stainless steel manufacturer in India, we remain extremely particular about the physical and mechanical properties of our bars.

Duplex Stainless Steel Supply conditions

Strength Duplex stainless steels are about twice as strong as regular austenitic or ferritic stainless steel.
Corrosion resistance As with all stainless steels, corrosion resistance depends mostly on the composition of the stainless steel.
The composition of this steel makes it better at resisting
corrosion.
Toughness and ductility Duplex stainless steel has significantly better toughness and ductility than ferritic grades.

Duplex Stainless Steel Applications

Structural Design Components
Storage and Exchange Equipment(High Pressure, Saline applications)
